FAQs

Do you take formals?

We realise and respect that formals are important for most couples and are more than happy to accommodate around 10, with a maximum of 15 for you. This allows us to concentrate on our signature style without breaking the flow of your wedding.

We can supply a list of the most important and regulary asked for formals if you are not sure what is expected. Please also ensure you have a toast master, master of ceremonies or failing that a best man/woman with a loud voice who knows the people in your shot lists to get everyone rounded up and back to the canapes as quickly as possible.

What is your style?

Our style is a mix of unobtrusive and creative documentary and photojournalistic photography. We aim to capture your day as it naturally unfolds without interfering but with as much creative and emotional flair as possible.

Will you take shots of us (bride/groom) in a location for some posed and artistic photography?

Sure! We love working with couples who enjoy being creative, you will get some very memorable shots to hang up on your wall for all to admire.

Will you stay longer than we have booked you? we have a surprise event happening!

No problem at all, please enquire for our rates for extra hours. Even if it is last minute notice on the day, we are happy to continue photographing for you. We also never disappear, ensuring that at the end of the day we have a brief chat with you to wrap things up.

Will you take photos of our surprise fireworks?

If you have anything out of the ordinary planned and want to remember it, then we are there to do exactly that for you. Just let us know details before hand so we can be sure to grab those particular moments from the best possible viewpoints.

Will our venue/church allow photography?

A very small selection of churches and venues prohibit the use of cameras and video cameras, we would strongly advise you to double check this to avoid disappointment on the day. We also advise to check if one of us can stand at the front of you both but to one side during the ceremony.

My uncle has an SLR camera and we also want him to take photos, is this a problem?

That's completely fine by us, the more coverage of your day the better. However, there will be times we need priority positions in order to fulfil our services to you. We ask that you gently inform your family photographer that they should allow us space to work professionally, before the day.

What if it rains?

Unfortunately, the great British weather can be a potential issue for any wedding day. In difficult weather, we will try to turn any moody or 'bad' weather to our advantage in order to capture stunning and unique images.

What equipment do you use?

We shoot with multiple professional cameras on the day along with some of the finest lenses available which gives us the greatest flexibility for lighting and creativity.

What are your terms of payment?

We do ask for a 20% deposit to secure your booking and then the balance six weeks before the wedding.

What insurance do you have?

We have both public liability and professional indemnity insurance for everyones peace of mind.
