Naz and Adams wedding at West Stoke House, Chichester, West Sussex

West Stoke House is a beautiful Georgian designed house just outside of Chichester, boasting elegantly designed rooms and fantastic views, making it the perfect setting for Naz and Adams dream wedding. They had been planning their wedding for over a year and a half, so it was fantastic to capture their excitement and anticipation on the day itself, and get to know them in the build up to the day. Naz looked absolutely stunning and didn’t seem to stop smiling all day, much like her adoring husband!

Adam and Naz booked us as a Simplicity package with our favourite videographers, FX Films, so it was great to catch up with them on the day, and work together with such a gorgeous and ‘up for anything’ couple. Although the day started off a bit cloudy, the sun seemed to break through in the afternoon just in time for the ‘confetti run’ and some very funky couple shots. The couple shots were not in our usual style but the opportunity of the blue fence was too good to pass up and it was brilliant fun.

The emotion of the day could clearly be seen on Naz’s face during the couples romantic first dance, thanks for a great day Naz and Adam.

Claire and Kevins wedding in Upminster, Essex

Claire and Kevin were lucky enough to be the winners of the competition we ran in partnership with FX Films and Hitched.co.uk last year. They beat thousands of other entrants to the prize of a Simplicity wedding photography and videography package.

They married at the beautiful Upminster Methodist Church, and followed the service with a marquee reception nearby where the drink flowed, and due to the very emotional speeches (including one from Claire) the tears did too!

Laura and Grants Simplicity package wedding photography at Eastlands Estate

Simplicity (FX Films + Lime Leaf Weddings = Cinematography + Photography)
Eastlands Estate, Billingshurst, West Sussex

Further to the blog entry where we showed the fantastic highlights clip for Laura and Grants wedding video by FX Films, (the clip can be seen by clicking here) here are a few photo highlights of the day. The venue was the stunning Eastlands Estate in West Sussex, which is surrounded by acres of manicured lawns, picturesque lakes as well as an outdoor pool and hot tub outside the house.

Despite the heat (there were some pretty impressive cases of sunburn by the end of the day, and that included the photographers), the pool and hot tub didn’t attract any wedding guests looking to cool off, although one guest did decide to go for a skinny-dip in the lake, which was captured in both the photos and video.

Grants dad who was referred to as ‘The Rockstar’ by some of the guests, lived up to his name by rounding up groupies for a ‘nipple licking’ photo opportunity, meanwhile Laura’s dad and bridesmaids were busy on the rope swing in the grounds.

Once the couple had had their romantic first dance, and Grant had wowed everyone with his MJ dancing to ‘Blame it on the boogie’, the DJ started playing cheese classics such as ‘ooh ah’ by Gina G, everyone hit the floor, and stayed there for the rest of the night.

The day was perfectly rounded up by an amazing sunset, which we used as a backdrop for some beautiful shots of the lovely Laura and Grant.
