Elizabeth and Adam get married at The Orangery and The Belvedere in Holland Park, London

Elizabeth and Adam had a beautiful day for their wedding which was set in the gorgeous setting of Holland Park in London. The ceremony was held at The Orangery which was lovely and light, and the reception and wedding breakfast was held at the wonderfully Art Deco, Belvedere Restaurant.

We  were so lucky to work with Elizabeth and Adam, they are such lovely, kind and caring people and it is such an honour to be able to capture their day. We first met them on a freezing winters evening in the Coburg Bar at The Connaught Hotel, and hit it off straight away, so it was like seeing friends get married by the time their wedding day came around. You can’t fail to notice not only how beautiful and elegant Elizabeth is, but how great her and Adam look together.

A lot of detail and thought had gone into their day, from the invites which featured their wedding date on the Holland Park street sign to the fantastic jukebox they hired in place of an evening band. They had a great idea of asking each guest to list two songs on the RSVP which were then all loaded on to the jukebox for the evening entertainment, and Jukebox menus were painstakingly printed on the old typewriter they had found through eBay. This went down a storm, and it was hard for us to try and be inconspicuous on the dance-floor as it was so packed!

It was a wonderful day for a truly wonderful couple.

Really great pictures! You have to tell me how to get so much light in there! :) I get frustrated whenever I try taking pictures at a wedding :)

We’re hoping to use Limeleaf for our wedding so was having a browse… I have fallen in love with the dress, haven’t seen anything else like it and I have been looking for something just like this. It’s very cheeky but do you mind we asking where its from? many thanks x

Fast lenses is the key, ideally F2.8 or faster for low light weddings without flash.
